London and New York based SynchTank has successfully signed-up over 25 clients to its innovative software based
music synchronization platform in its first 12 months of trading.

SynchTank is a SaaS (‘Software as a Service’) company initially targeted at the music licensing industry. SynchTank’s
software platform is a highly complementary technology overlay on existing music industry practices and enables
companies to both improve internal processes and automate the licensing of their catalogues. This opens up
significant earnings opportunities for music businesses and, moreover, the ability to license all of their music
catalogue at any price point 24/7.

The current client roster already spans the USA, UK, Germany and Asia and includes some of the biggest and most
exciting names in the music industry including Peter Gabriel’s new venture Cue Songs (www.cuesongs.com),
Primary Wave Music, (www.primarywavemusic.com), Reservoir Media (www.reservoir-media.com), ATC Management
(sync.atcmanagement.com), Budde Music (www.budde.de), and The Orchard (www.concentratedmusic.com).

Simple to use and quick to implement, SynchTank is further disrupting the music industry with a non-traditional
zero commission revenue model. Clients retain 100% of all revenue generated through music licenses generated
via the SynchTank software platform.

The software is licensed for a fixed monthly license fee based on catalogue size. Starting from only $199 per month
for a catalogue of up to 500 tracks, SynchTank is finding few barriers to sale as the subscription provides for a fully
functional website, automated metadata tagging, powerful search engine, customer and content management
systems, integrated pitching and delivery tools with detailed metrics, and SynchTank’s own proprietary video
synchronization tool SynchStage™.

SynchTank was founded by music industry veteran Joel Thomas Jordan from his back bedroom in Brooklyn, New
York and following significant effort, and tightly managed funding, is now scaling rapidly across the Globe.
Jordan is quoted as saying “I am incredibly excited about our early traction with our killer client roster. I believed
that there was a massive gap in the market for a powerful but simple platform to enable music licensing, call it a
DIY ethos, and I’m blown away by the fact that such big names in the music industry agree with me. We want to be
the Switzerland of the music-tech World- totally neutral.”

The SynchTank team has recently returned from MIDEM 2012 and over the next few months SynchTank expects to
acquire further clients in its core markets as well as Europe, South America, Australia, and Asia.

<h7>Leveraging Music Tech – bands, brands and beyond..</h7>

Our Chairman, Rory Bernard will be presenting our solution during the showcase segment at 6pm.

Join us for a special presentation at London’s Music 4.5: Connecting music-tech startups with brands and agencies on the lookout for the new technologies, the new digital communication solutions for promotion, marketing, communications, distribution, customer acquisition and product development (not just the usual synch, bands/brands discussion) – while making sure that the artist is considered and paid.

This particular Msuic 4.5 will address Brand Discovery. Using music to engage emotionally with audiences has always been a key marketing ingredient. Now, there are a number of new, clever and interesting companies, with new digital and social media ways of reaching new audiences or communicating and selling to existing audiences. A number of these tools and technologies are developed by music-tech companies as a way for artists and the music industry to reach out, build and manage a relationship with their fans.

As brands and artists share the same need to communicate and engage with their fans/consumers, the tools developed for the music industry are proving to be an innovative way for brands to drive engagement and reach new demographics, partnering up in new ways with artists.

Brand Discovery will be exploring these new technologies and tools, what partnerships have worked and delivered, as well as discuss how brands can find the right music-tech fit for them.

For more information, a complete schedule and registration information check out Music 4.5: Brand Discovery
